Debra A. Kirkpatrick, RLA
CEO

Serving as CEO, Debra A. Kirkpatrick, R.L.A., she is a graduate of University of Virginia, MLA / 1988 / Landscape Architecture. She provides the administrative and executive oversite of the woman owned small business. Debra implements policy decision in all aspects of AxES. With respect to Debra’s professional business line, she has provided public and private clients with a broad range of landscape architectural services such as Conservation or ‘Green’ site and landscape design, master site planning and fine planting design using a majority of sustainable methodologies and native plants. Debra, a licensed Landscape Architect since 1994 / Pennsylvania / RLA/ No. LA001170E has an exemplary portfolio of projects including, Susquehanna River Basin Commission & Paxton Creek Watershed Association. Harrisburg, PA This public project encompassed five bio-retention demonstration gardens in the targeted watershed. Designed and assisted with implementation of demo gardens of varying sizes and site complexities on Federal, State, City, Township and neighborhood levels. The New Pennsylvania State Archives Building and Landscape Pennsylvania Archives, Harrisburg, PA required collaboration with Historical and Museum Commission to design site, landscape and raingardens for the project.

Cliff Everett, A.I.A., LEED
COO, CTO

Principal and Director of Architecture with AxES Systems, Mr. Cliff Everett has more than 32 years of experience in architecture and design. Cliff has an established reputation for design excellence and shaping trends in architecture while emphasizing the cultivation of strong client relationships. Design approach revolves around the comprehensive assimilation of Architecture and Interior Design. Cliff has maintained his architectural registration since 1995 (Maryland, No.10318) and has been involved in multiple projects in aviation and transit, office and corporate spaces, stadium facilities, recreation centers, retail and mixed use facilities, courthouses, and healthcare. Cliff has a B.S. in Interior Design from the University of Maryland, College Park and Post Graduate Studies in Architecture from the University of Texas, Austin.

Dennis Blake, RA
Senior Architect

Senior Architect with AxES Systems, Mr. Dennis Blake has over 35 years of experience. Dennis' expertise includes architectural and space planning services for new and renovated institutional and commercial facilities in the capacity of project administration and management, document production, construction technology/methodologies, construction administration, and budget control. Dennis is a registered architect in Ohio, Maryland (No.6559), Virginia, District of Columbia and holds a NCARB certification (No.99798). Dennis has a B.A. in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and an

M.S. in Historical Preservation from Columbia University.

John Richards, P.E., LEED AP BD+C
Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer with AxES Systems, Mr. Richards has close to 30 years of experience in the field of M/E/P Engineering and Construction Administration. Primary responsibilities have included feasibility studies, design, energy performance analysis, budgeting, constructability/value engineering reviews, scheduling, change order management, and contract administration. Keith is a registered professional engineer and has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Loyola College of Maryland.

Thomas S. McMennamin, RA
Project Architect/Manager

Mr. McMennamin has 29 years of experience as an architect. His experience runs the gamut of project types, including justice, aviation, hotel, embassies, cabinet-level U.S. government, military, and single-family residential. Thomas is a registered architect in Virginia (No. 010174) and Arkansas (No. 9135), and holds an NCARB certification (No. 61736) Thomas has B.S in Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the Pennsylvania State University. (1989) He is has expertise in Autocad and Revit Architecture (BIM) and leads the firms contract document production services group.
